Description of the overall mission of this organization:
MAP's mission is to nurture the unique potential of young people in Olneyville by unleashing their creative voices and uniting them with professional artists to create original theatre. Through playmaking, we are giving kids tools to become tomorrow's creative thinkers and community leaders.
Ages of youth served: 8-18
Hours of internship: (number of hours, days, times) Can be flexible, and catered to students' needs. Most needed: afterschool hours 3:30-5:30p Mondays and Wednesdays, 2-6pm Fridays.
Description of role and duties: (include administrative or hands-on or both) 
Hands-on classroom assistance with young people during our playwriting classes and Fun Fridays. Production assistance during our play festivals. Other opportunities for grant writing, fundraising, and marketing assistance if desired.
Paid or unpaid: Unpaid.
Description of the culture of the place (how many people in the office, dress code, communication style): We are a small, laid back, student-centered "Clubhouse." Interns are expected to respect the voices of young people and show a commitment to each child's success.
